Clapmother is a local Malaysian solo artist by Tiinesh. I was tasked in designing for his upcoming single titled "Moon Prison".

After discussing with my client, we came up with these references for the cover art. He wanted a vintage B-movie sci fi movie poster feel to it.

Moon photographing
When designing, I thought of an idea of instead of using a stock photo of a moon, I could photograph and create my moon by photographing a rock close up. Through photoshop manipulation, I was able to manipulate it into a moon.

Promotional posters
While discussing with my client, we decided to make a promotional poster as well to paste in public. My client suggested using his mask that he uses throughout his music photoshoot as the poster. Using my scanner, I manually wrap each image of the mask to make each poster unique. With the wrapping, it helps captures the surreal feeling of the music.
